Seeing how supportive the environment was inspired me to step onto the mat myself and I couldn't be happier that I did! As an adult student, the classes are challenging, empowering, and a phenomenal workout, all in a completely non-intimidating atmosphere. The instructors give excellent personal feedback, ensuring you build proper technique at your own pace.

Incredible environment for kids to build confidence and discipline! The instructors are patient, encouraging, and highly skilled at keeping classes both structured and fun. Beyond teaching martial arts techniques, they place a huge emphasis on character building, respect, focus, and confidence.

Coach Jeremiah has been passionate about martial arts since he was in primary school. Setting up his own gym was always a dream, and ~2 years ago, he made that dream a reality. Now, he has teamed up with Coach Andrew to open his second gym. Both coaches understand how martial arts, as a way of life, can transform lives because it transformed theirs. After decades of experience in training and competing in tournaments here and abroad, they’re now passing on their knowledge, values and legacy to the next generation. You and your child will be in good hands.

I cannot recommend SAMA Academy highly enough! From the moment my girls joined, they have been welcomed with open arms and made to feel like part of the SAMA family. The amount they have learnt since joining has been amazing. Not only have they developed new skills, but their confidence, discipline and technique have improved so much. A special thank you to Sir Andrew, who has taken the time to work closely with my girls, correcting their techniques, teaching them the proper way to perform their moves and helping them improve in areas that needed attention. His knowledge, patience and dedication to getting the best out of his students really show in the way he teaches. What I love most is that the instructors don’t just teach the children moves. They take the time to explain, demonstrate and make sure the children understand what they are doing and why. They encourage them to push themselves, work hard, believe in their abilities and never give up. As a parent, there is nothing better than watching your children grow in confidence, improve their skills and genuinely look forward to attending training. Thank you to Sir Andrew and the entire SAMA Academy team for welcoming my girls, believing in them and helping them become better martial artists.
